The goal of every spiritual seeker is spiritual enlightenment, which profoundly changes lives. A spiritual awakening often fundamentally changes your sense of yourself, a shift so great that it affects everything in your daily life. When your sense of self shifts to include all things, your heart may open, leaving you feeling fully alive and connected with all of life. While the ultimate depth of our spiritual nature is who we really are, so is always here, it can be difficult and somewhat challenging to directly experience them. Here are the three keys you must possess to experience a spiritual enlightenment:

When your sense of self shifts to include all things, your heart may open, leaving you feeling fully alive and connected with all of life. While the ultimate depth of our spiritual nature is who we really are, so is always here, it can be difficult and somewhat challenging to directly experience them. Here are the three keys you must possess to experience a spiritual enlightenment:
1. Noticing Your Experiences
The very essence of your nature is awareness. It is like there is a light shining down on your experience. We call this light awareness. By being actively curious about what is going on in every moment, we are able to align ourselves to this very essential quality of awareness. Some spiritual practices such as meditation urge you to focus or direct your attention. If you don't want to use such a structured approach, you can simply start paying more attention to what is happening. What are you experiencing at this moment? What colors do you see? What do you hear? How does your body feel? What will happen if you take just a moment to completely notice exactly what is present? Are you able to turn your awareness up for a moment, simply seeing, hearing, and feeling what is happening?
2. Accepting Your Experience As It Is
Another fundamental quality of our true nature is space or openness. Space is the softest thing in the universe; it allows everything to pass right through. Letting things be just the way they are right now can put you more in touch with this accepting, allowing quality of your true nature.
Perhaps the only real trick to allowing things to be as they are, is to always start with what you are experience at the moment and include everything, even your reactions and feelings. If you are experiencing any kind of resistance to this spiritual awakening, you have to be able to also accept the resistance. Believe it or not, sometimes just giving yourself the permission to resist your experience can make it possible to fully allow the experience. You don't necessarily have to like the experience; you just let it be just what it is. Of course, some things are very easy to allow and feel grateful for.
These first two keys go together. In order to fully notice something, you have to let it be here. It's very difficult to get acquainted with someone if you're pushing them away. In order to truly accept or allow something means that you know it very well. It's not really acceptance when you're not aware of what you're experiencing.
3. Spiritual Awakening Depends on Divine Intelligence
Simply applying the first two steps on their own won't bring on a spiritual awakening. It's a deeper, truer part of your Being that brings on the shift in awareness that we call spiritual enlightenment. Unfolding your life are wisdom and intelligence, which knows when the time is right for exposing profound truths. You see, spiritual enlightenment isn't up to you at all. It's up to the intelligence of life itself.
If you're unable to orchestrate spiritual enlightenment, you're probably wondering why you would even bother with the first two tips. It's simple. When you pay attention and allow every experience, you will be ready when a spiritual awakening actually happens. As it turns out, every experience is part of the unfolding of our awareness. There is grace and intelligence within all that happens. What happens when one of the experiences turns out to be a spiritual awakening or spiritual experience? You would definitely want to pay attention and simply allow it to happen. These spiritual practices
