Your first game task is to create your pet and there are a huge number of choices, which results in some really strange-looking animals! You must consider your avatar carefully because a major part of the game is grooming, feeding, washing, and playing with your pet. So if your pet isn't appealing to you, the game won't be fun and you'll most likely quit.
Pet Society is definitely a social interaction game because you and your game friends can interact with each other's pets. Of course, this isn't just social kindness because there are also game rewards for being friendly.
You will have lots of opportunities to make friends and meet others when you and your pet wander through town and there is a LOT to do! Love projects and making things? Visit the DIY store. Want spiffy, expensive new duds? Go to the Clothing Store - and when you're there check out the Furniture Store and come home with a grand new sofa or whatever tickles your fancy.
Like all games, there are "levels" and you will want to go up the ladder as quickly as you can. The action begins with no points at the "Getting Started" level and you can zoom through 47 levels. The top level currently is the "Ruby Super Pet" level but this is a real challenge because it requires a whopping 420,000 points! Obviously, acquiring points in critical to success in this virtual game.
Since scooping up points is so important, it's smart to take shortcuts whenever you can. It's always possible to learn the hard way - though experience - but that involves time and a heap of mistakes. Successful players who have played superbly have shared 'cheats' that are totally legal but will help you move up through the levels much faster.
Our first cool way to explode your points is to take your baby and drop by the Mystery Store. You're after as many servings of 'Effect Away' as you can afford because you'll receive 17 points for every drink your pet swallows. This elixir isn't harmful and your pet is perfectly happy to drink as much of it as you wish. So invest in multiple doses and repeat as often as you want. It's pure profit.
Another quick way to pile up points is by cleaning pets. Get out of the house with your baby and visit the shops, the bank, the stadium and all the other cool Pet Society locales. You are looking for dirty pets and you can spot them by the flies that hang around. Once you've located them, click on the Soap icon and clean them off and you will be paid. Then, you can get paid again for the same work. How? Click your "Refresh" button and the pets you just cleaned will be surrounded by flies again. Simply rinse and repeat, as often as you wish.
These are just of the ways to wrack up lots of Pet Society points. But it brings a dilemma ... will you spend your money on the many luxuries offered by the game, or will you ferociously save to rise up the levels?
